Kirk came to the clinic yesterday @ our 8:15 time. It was GREAT to see him! He spent the whole day with us, and it was awesome! My brother, JP, came over to the clinic too, and then joined us for lunch at our abode on wheels. Kirk, Dwight, and I spent the afternoon playing Mexican Train dominoes while we visited. Then we had supper and played a little longer. He had to go to Candi's house around 8:00 PM so he could get to bed by 9. He had to head to the airport around 3:30 AM and was home a few hours later. It was a quick trip for him, but it was a shot of adrenaline for me!

Dwight made some homemade chicken noodle (GF) soup (for the soul :) in the crock pot, and it was good. We have one more meal left for today. Then it's probably time for another batch of our hamburgers on the grill. I'm glad he thought to bring some of our meat, so we don't have to search for it. We don't have a good English roast though, and he's keeping an eye out for a grass fed, grass finished one. Yummy roast beef sandwiches!
