Hi-long time no write! I haven't really missed typing with one finger, but I have made people unhappy that I'm not keeping them posted. I'll get a post published once a week or so.

I've been home for 3 weeks and am getting ready to go back to AZ on Sunday for the usual 4 days of treatments. The blood work will tell where I am. I found out that probiotics help me with the gastro problems I was having. I feel pretty normal in that area now-yea!

Recently I found out about thermography. It can reveal breast cancer years before a mammogram, and it involves NO RADIATION! There is no touching and NO SQUISHING! It's like a sitting for a photograph only you probably wouldn't use the "bare" image for your Christmas cards. If you're interested:  integratedhealthsolutions.com  It's located at Briargate & Union across the street from where the old Safeway (now Gold's Gym) was.

I had an upper body thermogram yesterday and found out that I can do 2 different blood tests-one goes to Germany, and one goes to Greece. (Of course, there's nothing in our country to support this idea.) The tests can provide info about what specific treatments and supplements would work best in my case. So far I've been on the right protocol because of the dramatic progress that's been made. The last several weeks have still shown progress, but it's not at a dramatic rate. There has been no backward progress on blood reports except for protein. I've been studying and working on that. Anyway, these tests sound very interesting and I want to do one or both. One uses the original biopsy material and the other uses currently circulating cancer(?) cells. The problem is that I don't want to piss off the AZ people who are literally like family. So Integrated Health Solutions is trying to contact AZ to see if they use these tests and how to get this done.

The other thing I discovered at IHS yesterday is they also do IPT and the treatments I've done in AZ!!! The same Dr. supports the AZ clinic and this one! Sylvia, the owner & thermographer here, has met Wanda, the Polish doctor who takes care of me in AZ! The main difference between the two is that IHS is a doctor's office and Euromed is a clinic with 5 rooms with beds. I still need to lie on my side, so a bed is the most comfortable. I'm thinking about hauling a chaise or tall air mattress to IHS. The other thing is I don't want to burn my bridges, BUT winter weather is here and the motor home doesn't like that. It would be awesome if I could transfer here. I'll know more after talking with the people in AZ next week.

Take care & watch out for the little goblins tomorrow!

Here I am at IPT today. We got back to AZ yesterday. It's cloudy and damp but only 73*!

The trip down was ok. I think they put a few more bumps in the road since the last trip though!

Dwight made potato salad last night-I'm waiting for the go-ahead to eat it at the clinic. He made a big crockpot of pea soup for the trip too. I have that in a thermos....waiting until I can eat. I'm pretty hungry because I can't eat before IPT.

Have a funtastic Monday!

We got back home Saturday afternoon. The trip was thankfully uneventful.

Today is the 3rd day after the last IPT and the one that seems to be the strongest detox time. I haven't eaten too much today, but the homemade pea soup Dwight put in the crockpot smells really good-another one of my comfort foods. Being in Phoenix all summer didn't have us craving hot soup, so this is welcome after not having it for several months.

I'm home for another 2 weeks. Blood markers will be drawn on the next trip. I'm expecting the return trips will gradually come at longer intervals. I'll hopefully be spending more time at home and less time in Phoenix. There's no way to predict, so I'm riding the wave.

Dwight called the RV place and the first appt we could get would be the middle of November! That's when we dug a little deeper and found an independent guy out in Ellicott. He's been working on generators for 40 yrs. Dwight took the coach out to him that afternoon. Mac called back the next morning at 8:00 and said it was done! Talk about service!! I you need a riding mower, generator, or welder repaired call Dwight for his number.

So we're leaving tomorrow morning to head back to Phx. I'm looking forward to riding on the bed this time! At least I'll be able to snooze without fear of ending up on the floor. :) We're planning on leaving Phx Friday after my treatment, if the timing works.

Dwight's making spaghetti right now, so we can have it on the trip (hopefully). He made potato salad too. With a couple other leftovers, he shouldn't have to cook for a few days.

Lots of love to all!

As we were coming out of the north side of the Springs Friday night, I looked out the window to see a gorgeous, colorful moon! It was a good sign! We got home a little after 8:00. We parked the motor home and actually slept in our own bed! It felt great!

Saturday morning Kirk and his family came down to unload the coach. When they came through the door, I hugged those girls to pieces. It was so awesome to see them. Graycee kept hugging my legs. So that rejuvenated us more than anything--the problems from the trip were fading memories.

Then to make things even better, there was a Bronco game on that night. Dwight was in football heaven. I don't know if I mentioned this, but we didn't watch TV all summer! I think I watched a couple of shows on my iPad mini, and that was it. I realized when there was a news report during the game, that I didn't miss the depressing news during the summer at all!

We found a generator repair guy this morning, so things are looking great!

Have a happy day! Give someone a hug!

We got outta Dodge (Phx) yesterday around 7:30. I rode on the bed for about an hour, then it started to get hot and stuffy in the bedroom. I called Dwight to have him turn on the generator so the roof ac for the bedroom would come on. No generator. So he pulled into the next rest stop and got out to try to start the gen from the outside. After trying for 20 minutes, still no gen. So we went on into Flagstaff in case we needed some starter fluid for it. Dwight and I studied the gen book, codes, etc. he tried a couple more things but no gen. So I had to relocate to the couch which is narrow for side to side movement on the road. At least I was able to get some ac. So it took us twice as long as ng to drive 1.5 hours than normal. When Dwight pulled out of the truck stop parking space, the refrigerator door swung open spewing my two meals of spaghetti, applesauce, and juice all over the place! So Dwight had to repark and clean all that up-about 30 minutes. We decided to at stop at 7:00 for the night in Grants-about an hour west of Albuquerque. After I ate something, I went to bed.

This morning we woke up at 5:30 and I said let's get on the road. We pulled out at 6:00. About 45 minutes toward Albuquerque, someone flagged Dwight to stop. He slowed and pulled over on the side of the road, only I thought we were pulling into a rest area for breakfast. He thought I was asleep so he just got out. After a bit I got up from the bed (cool in there this morning) to see waht he was doing. I looked out the side windows and mirrors but didn't see him. Finally I looked at the back-up camera screen. He was out there changing a tire on the tow car (Forrester)!! I really thought today had to be better! When he was finished, he said the rim was ruined! We hobbled 20 minutes into Albuquerque.

We pulled into the first Walmart-they don't have a rim for our car. We both searched maps for a Subaru dealer-called-they don't have the rim either! We checked a couple auto repair shops and a few tire stores. As it turns out, Big O Tires had a very friendly and knowledgeable guy who said to bring it over I think I have something that will work. So while I'm still in the coach by the tire center at Walmart, Dwight took the car to Big O. After a bit, Dwight let me know the rim would work. Whew! They had to run to another auto part store to get a brake. The Subaru now has 4 new tires!!!

Dwight brought back McDonald's, which wasn't my first choice, but my spaghetti was in the trash. He opened the burger box with "no bun" and it had a bun. We left Albuquerque at 12:30-6.5 hrs later than our 6:00 departure.

We may spend another night on the road so we don't get too tired. I hate to waste a precious night from my 2 weeks off on the road but...
I just want to be home! I tried clicking my heels 3 times, saying, "there's no place like home," but when I opened my eyes, I was still in the coach.
